SCP Foundation

For my editorial design work with the SCP Foundation, I sought to create a visually compelling experience that reflects the eerie, mysterious, and often unsettling world of the Foundation. The design blends dark, minimalistic aesthetics with a sense of chaos and intrigue, capturing the essence of SCP’s unpredictable and dangerous anomalies. Using stark typography, grungy textures, and ghoulish imagery, I aimed to evoke a feeling of suspense and curiosity, making the reader feel as though they are uncovering secrets piece by piece.

The layout was intentionally designed to guide the reader through the unpredictable and cryptic nature of the SCP universe, with pages that shift between structured formats and chaotic elements to mimic the unpredictability of the content. Each detail was carefully considered to maintain the haunting, atmospheric tone of the SCP Foundation, while also ensuring clarity and cohesion throughout the editorial with the idea being that of a file that you'd actually find in the foundation if it truly existed. This project allowed me to experiment with visual storytelling, creating an immersive and engaging design that truly captures the essence of the Foundation's lore and its vast, ever-expanding world.
